Update: men identified following CCTV appeal
The three men that police wanted to speak to in connection with an assault in York have been identified, as a direct result of this appeal, police said on Tuesday (June 27).
As a result of this we have removed the CCTV images mentioned from this post.
A York gang attack left two men in hospital – and police want to talk to these three about it.
Police have issued CCTV of the three men they want to speak to in connection with an incident near Clifford Street, outside York Dungeon, on May 23 at about 3am.
It involved a large group of men assaulting two men. The victims required hospital treatment for their injuries, and one suffered a broken nose.
Enquiries are ongoing, and officers now want to speak to three men pictured on CCTV about the incident, as they may have important information that could assist the investigation.
Anyone who recognises them should contact North Yorkshire Police.
