A film-making company now working on a movie starring Dervla Kirwan is one of two new commercial tenants being welcomed into the historic the Escrick Park Estate near York.

At the same time Escrick Park-based business advice and accountancy company Numerical Therapy, also known as CGA, have just extended their lease by six years.
Since seven redundant farmsteads on the park, east of the A19, underwent a £1.4 million refurbishment, 130 jobs have been created.
Charles Forbes Adam, the owner and developer of Escrick Park, said: “Their arrival is a ringing endorsement of the quality of our rural offices, which are attracting new occupiers in challenging economic times.”
John Burley, of North Yorkshire York property consultants Briggs Burley, who are marketing Escrick Park, said: “Escrick Park is sufficiently close to York to have a direct association with the city and its location on an historic estate lends a degree of prestige.
“There are a large number of people commuting into York from the south, east and west. Escrick is ideally suited to catch that traffic before it encounters the congestion in York.”
