Four teenagers have been arrested after a car was stolen in York.
Police received a call from a member of the public at around 5.20am on Monday (May 1), reporting a suspicious vehicle on Common Lane in Dunnington.
It was being driven without any lights on.
Officers located the car, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, parked on Common Lane. No one was inside.
The officers approached four boys who were nearby and questioned them. The youths, two aged 14 and two aged 15, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
All four have been released while enquiries continue.
