Boat rescue – York

Location: River Ouse, York

The Fire Service were called to a boat sinking on the River Ouse.

The occupants of the boat two males were rescued prior to the Fire Service arrival.

Fire crews from York Fire Station made their way to the boat using the Fire Service boat and managed to tow the sinking boat and lift it out of the water.

The occupants of the boat were checked over by ambulance crew.
