More details and book

That’s the big question that can only be answered at a charity quiz night taking place this month.

Hosted by York Archaeological Trust, owner of the Jorvik Viking Centre, The Big York Quiz is looking to crown the mega-minds of our city. These will be the eggheads who know their Blue Bell from their Blue Bridge, their Davy Tower from their Red Tower.

There are prizes on the night, with £100 in Fenwick gift vouchers for the overall winner. All the funds raised go to Campaign Canute, the initiative raising funds to re-imagine Jorvik Viking Centre which suffered devastating damage during last winter’s floods.

Director of attractions at the trust Sarah Maltby said: “Whether you are a local business, champion pub quiz team or just want to get some friends and family together to form a team, the Big York Quiz will be a fun night and potentially insightful affair in to York’s heritage.”

So to get your brain cells warmed up we’ve put together our own little quiz… how many can you get right?
