Struggling to find that perfect present for a loved one? Got the odd £7.5K to spend?
Then we might have found the ideal gift. Particularly if they are a fan of motoring.
Ninety-three years ago, this car was state of the art – the Tesla Model S of its day.
Today she is a vintage classic. This is a 1924 Singer four-seat tourer, complete with all mod cons, including parcel shelf and, er, steering wheel…
And if you’re looking for thrills, the engine generates a full 11 horsepower.
She really is a beauty. And she’s on offer for £7,500 on Stuff For Sale In York.
Been around
The car, now resting in a garage in Tollerton near York, has been advertised by Emily North on behalf of her dad.
He bought the Singer four years ago and took her to a few shows, although she has not been running for a couple of years.
The model is missing its frame and hood. But, coming complete with spares and manual, the car could be back to her best in no time.
As Emily says: “It’s not something you see every day is it?”
Singer Motors was a Coventry based business which began by making bicycles. It first starting making cars in 1901.
If you’re interested in snapping this Singer up, get in touch with Emily on the Stuff For Sale In York page.
