An arson attack that took place on a York street is being investigated by North Yorkshire police.
A shed was set alight in Rawcliffe Croft at midnight on the morning of Sunday, June 5.
The fire “caused a large amount of damage to the surrounding area,” say police.
The owner’s personal possessions were also damaged in the incident.
A force spokesman said:
We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, officers are appealing for information about anybody seen near to the incident prior to this fire or any suspicious activity in the street around 11pm to midnight.
