Is one of your beer barrels missing? Or do you know a pub which is a few pints short of a fab Friday night?
Then police want to hear from you.
It follows the arrest of a man on suspicion of stealing a beer keg in York.
Officers from York police and North Yorkshire Police’s Rural Taskforce located the man with a barrel of Black Sheep Ale on the riverside opposite Rowntree Park.
He was unable to account for how he came to be in possession of it, and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of theft.
Police are appealing for witnesses to help trace the rightful owner of the barrel, and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.
