A woman was taken to hospital after a road accident in Heworth, York.
Police were called to East Parade at 10.45am on Thursday (December 13) to reports of a collision between a woman pedestrian and a car.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance was sent to the scene and landed in Glen Gardens.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said:

We were called to reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian, along with paramedics and the air ambulance.
The woman who was struck by the vehicle was treated for her injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
There were some disruption to traffic while the incident was dealt with.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said an ambulance and rapid response vehicle were sent to the incident, along with the air ambulance. One person was taken to York Hospital.
Heworth Road and East Parade were closed to help emergency services, and buses were diverted along other routes.
