Hit making duo Chase & Status are used to filling some of the country’s biggest arenas. So it’s quite a coup for the Barbican to book them for a DJ set this Saturday. Their first York show since 2012, the party goes on till 3am… more here.

This enchanting show for children aged 3+ reimagines Peter Pan from the viewpoint of Wendy. Poppies: Women, war and peace
The excellent York Army Museum hosts this new exhibition of work by artist Lee Karen Stow. Opening on Saturday, the exhibition documents stories of women affected by war, including Flora Sandes who fought with the Serbian Army in the First World War. More here.
