York Food & Drink Festival

York Mumbler Big Weekend
Parenting website York Mumbler has recently clocked up 10K members on its Facebook group and is celebrating with a party to which we’re all invited. There’s a UK premiere in York this week. Pick Me Up Theatre have brought the subversive Disenchanted! show from New York to the John Cooper Studio Theatre. A comedy musical, it turns sappy soppy Disney princesses into characters who are altogether sassier. From Fri Sept 23 to Oct 1 – more here.
York 50+ Festival
More than 120 events are lined up at the 12th York 50+ Festival. Kicking off on Saturday and running to October 20, the fest offers everything from walking football to belly dancing, glass fusing workshops to life coaching. More here.
