Guinness World Wheelies
Two wheels good, one wheel better… At least that’s the theory behind the Guinness World 1km Wheelie Records, a speed-driven thrill fest at Elvington Airfield. Bikers from around the world will be trying to record the first ever 200mph-plus wheelie. Saturday and Sunday – more here.
Record Breakers Sports Day
Turns out, it’s a record-breaking weekend. Organisers York Explore invite all ages to the park to see if you have a record in you. Test your penalty-taking skills and get to grips with the climbing wall. Saturday from 10.30am – more here.

This all-dayer, organised by York promoters One For The Road, features two stages of great music from Yorkshire and beyond.
