The ten-year-old girl missing in York has been found.
Police launched an urgent search for the girl on Tuesday nigh after she failed to return home from school.
Concerns were growing for her safety.
Happily, shortly after 1am, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “The 10-year-old girl from York who was reported missing earlier today has been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and offered information.”
