Woman in her 20s found dead at property in North Yorkshire

A police investigation was launched after a woman was found dead in North Yorkshire.

Paramedics attended the sudden death of a woman in her 20s in a property near Skipton Road, Harrogate, yesterday morning (Wednesday).

At 10.19am, they called in the police.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “There has been a police presence at the scene, whilst enquiries were carried out.

“Following a thorough investigation, we can confirm that we are not treating the woman’s death as suspicious.

“A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the woman’s death, but he has now been released with no further action following the necessary enquiries.”
