These stunning pictures show the medieval church of St Margaret’s in a whole new light.
And you can see them as part of a unique fly-through event at the Walmgate church, home to the National Centre for Early Music.
The Verspertine Zoom Through event takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey through St Margaret’s Church as captured on laser scans.
The AOC Archaeology Group and NCEM have teamed up to explore and reinterpret the church using an archaeological laser scanner and a sound installation by audio designer, Jez Wells.
Artist and filmmaker, Annabeth Robinson, will use AOC’s laser scans to create an interactive flythrough and images, viewable by all through Google Cardboard.
Plus there will be food from Bicis y Mas – and all for free. Here’s the timetable for the evening…
Families workshop
